Carpets of Kidderminster was founded in 1934 by the late Lionel Rowe, a well-known and respected member of the local carpet fraternity.

The company started with the production of high quality axminster carpet and was initially situated in Green Street in Kidderminster. As demand grew for axmister carpet, so the company began to expand, with a purpose built facility at Wilden lane, Stourport on Severn where investment in machinery and logistics could be utilised to it's maximum. With a combination of electronic jacquards and narrow looms, Carpets of Kidderminster can offer a diverse range of widths, 0.69m, 0.91m, 1.37m, 2.00m, 2.50m, 2.74m, 3.66m, 4.00m and 4.11m.

Due to the global financial crisis of recent years, the company was restructured in 2010 as Woven Carpets of Kidderminster Ltd, with a completely new management team, focussing on the contract market sector only, specialising in small batch production, high quality be-spoke designs with the service and attention to detail to compliment our clients.

Today, Woven Carpets of Kidderminster employs 75 people and is continuing to grow, with our production facility working 24 hours a day, the future looks good…..
